The Allman Brothers Band fused blues, jazz, and country styles to create their own, distinctly American sound. The “Brothers” formed in 1969, released their iconic album “At Fillmore East” in 1971, and played with various combinations until 2014. At the core of the group’s sound were the two guitar harmonies and soaring solos.

We have created “Blue Sky Dogs” as a celebration of the ABB’s unique sound.

“Blue Sky Dogs” brings the ABB experience full circle with the “two drum” percussion section of Joe O’ Connell and Nick Mallers. Their rolling rhythms will remind you why Jaimoe & Butch remain the greatest drum pair in rock history.
